Meghan writes the blog. She taught social studies and English overseas, in Virgina, and in Texas, shifted to instructional coaching, served as an assistant principal, and now writes curriculum. Scott (her boss!), provides ideas and guidance for the blog. Scott has worked over 25 years championing the importance of social studies in classrooms, district leadership, assessment production, and curriculum development.

For our day job we create social studies curriculum, assessment, and resources for the TEKS Resource System, an online curriculum management system aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The TEKS Resource System is designed using current research-based practices to create great curriculum for Texans by Texans.
